Q. What is collagen?
A. Collagen is
the most abundant protein in the body and accounts for some 85% of
the skin, hair, nail and joint tissue. Collagen levels deplete at a
rate of 1.5% every year after the age of 25. After this age most
people start to notice the appearance of fine lines and loss of skin
elasticity. Joint degradation may also start to become evident due to
a decrease in collagen production. Like any other proteins, collagen
consists of amino acids. Altogether there are 20 different kinds in
human cells; collagen is rich in amino acids. Supplying these in
abundance helps stimulate collagen synthesis.
Q. What causes wrinkles?
A. The way
your skin looks is directly related to the way your skin is
supported. Wrinkles form when the natural collagen and hyaluronic
acid in your skin diminish during the natural ageing process.

A. Parabens
are a group of chemicals used as preservatives in cosmetic/beauty
products. Some common names include benzylparaben, isobutylparaben,
butylparaben, propylparaben, ethylparaben, and methylparaben.
Q. Why are
there fears over paraben use?
A. A number of
studies have shown a possible link between tumours and the use of
products containing parabens. There are on-going clinical studies in
this area. With this in mind and to safeguard our customer's
concerns, PureLogicol have researched and developed our new improved
product range which is paraben free

should I apply the mask?
A. Once or
twice per week or as desired.
Q. Why is
PureLogicol face mask not ready mixed?
A. Collagen
when ready mixed has been shown to degenerate over a short period of
time. PureLogicol unique mask has been developed to deliver maximum
activity on each application.
Q. Can I apply
the mask around the eye area?
A. Yes, but
avoid direct contact and apply with a gentle massage. Do not drag the
delicate skin.
Q. How long
should I keep the mask on?
A. 10 - 15
minutes or overnight if preferred.
Q. How should
I remove the mask?
A. Rinse with
tepid water or remove using skin cleanser and cotton pads.
Q. How should
I store the mask?
A. Keep in a
cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
