Pycnogenol®
is an extract from the bark of the Maritime Pine. Proanthocyanidins,
a sub-group of the flavonoid family of plant compounds, are the key
constituents in Pycnogenol® and are known to have significant
antioxidant effects.
Pycnogenol has
earned the title ‘super antioxidant’ because it contains
multiple antioxidants which act together to help mop up excess
cell-damaging molecules in the body known as
‘free-radicals’. These molecules are produced from exposure
to all manner of pollutants and also as a natural bi-product when we
exercise. They become more damaging as we get older.
Each capsule
provides a full 40mg of Pycnogenol® making it one of the most
potent pine bark extract products on the market. Only one
tablet a day is required
